HISTORY

SUASL was founded in 1992/1993 by several individuals who were team managers and Pedro Romeiro who also directed the program. SUASL’s success is due to the cooperative work of our volunteers and team managers who established our programs and created our rules. We lead the soccer community with innovative concepts to improve the soccer experience. We created the first men’s Premier division in the state, the first over 30s, over 40s, 48s, 55s and 60s men’s competitive divisions, we were the first league to established requirements and standards for discipline and accountability by having players and team managers to agree and honor a code of conduct within the spirit of competitive and recreational soccer programs for the amateur players.
